- 500g
spaghetti
- 1 tablespoon
vegetable or olive oil
- 1 onion,
sliced
- 2 cloves
garlic, crushed
- 2 tablespoons
tomato paste
- 425g
canned tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons
parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon
basil
- ½
cup dry white wine or stock
- ½
cup water
- 1 tablespoon
salt-reduced soy sauce
- 500g
scallops
- 500g
green prawns
- 1 cup
squid rings
- ½
cup black olives (optional)

- Cook
spaghetti according to instructions on the packet.
- Drain
and serve topped with marinara sauce with green side salad.
- For
the sauce: heat oil in a frypan and cook onion and garlic
for 2 - 3 minutes over moderate heat.
- Add
tomato paste, tomatoes, parsley and basil.
- Cook
gently until mixture thickens.
- Add
wine, water and soy sauce and simmer for 2 minutes.
- Turn
heat to low, add seafood and heat for 3 - 5 minutes or until
fish is cooked.
- Add
olives and serve.
